Name of the project : Proposal for an energy aggregator for the dynamic management of a recovery request to a set of industrial agents in an energy crisis situation

Type of project : PhD

Summary:

In power plant failure or critical winter situations that generate a peak in energy consumption at a time when energy is at its most expensive, energy demand response is an attractive solution for energy suppliers, allowing them to reduce the power delivered to customers instead of buying energy at the highest price on international markets. The rise in incidents related to the shutdown of production sites due to energy shortages is also an issue to consider. The topic will lead to a mathematical study of the optimization of the disintegration of a global signal under constraints with, for example, machine learning-type approaches incorporating the network problems linked to it, the problems of dynamics of the power consumed by the facilities, the securing of signals and the unavailability of traditional information feedback networks in crisis situations. This will lead to the realization of a proof of concept.
